When you’re looking for something to do with the family on the weekends this fall, nothing beats heading just outside the city limits to one of the many peaceful farms in Central Texas for some fall family fun! Weave your way through a corn maze; pick out the perfect pumpkin for carving a Halloween jack-o-lantern, and visit cows, goats, and pigs in a petting zoo at one of these five farms hosting some fun and exciting fall festivals!
Barton Hill Farms – Fall Festival & Corn Maze

Dates: Saturdays 10am – 8pm & Sundays 10am – 6pm from September 23rd – November 5th.
Admission: $13 when you purchase tickets online or $14 at the gate, children under 3 are free.
Attractions: 5-acre corn maze, kids pumpkin patch corn maze, farm animals, 4-acre pumpkin patch (purchase pumpkins for an additional fee), giant jumping pillow, corn hole, sack races, giant jenga, washers, volleyball, face painting (additional fee), live music, food, and so much more!
Crowe’s Nest Farm – Fall Family Fun Festival

Dates: Saturdays 11am – 5pm from October 7th – October 28th
Admission: $9 for adults, $7 for children ages 3 – 12, $3 for two year-olds, and children under 2 are free.
Attractions: Farm animals, Native Texan Wildlife, hayrides, cow milking demos, raptor shows, snake shows, faeriewood, pumpkins and gourds for purchase, carnival games (one ticket per play, tickets are $1 each), face painting, gift shop items for purchase (local honey, homemade breads and jams, etc.), concessions, and more!
Sweet Berry Farms – The Harvest of Fall Fun

Dates: Monday – Saturday (closed Wednesdays) 8:30am – 5:30pm & Sundays 11am – 5pm from September 23rd – November 5th.
Admission: Admission is free, activities and items available for purchase.

Evergreen Farms – Pumpkin Hunt

Admission: Admission is free! Tickets are required for most activities and can be purchased for $2.50 each.
Attractions: Pumpkin hunt, launcher, maze, pumpkin races, train ride, golf, fishing pond, spinner, hop along ponies, and bounce house (all require tickets), pumpkins available for purchase, pumpkin decorating, concession stands, fire truck rides ($5), and face painting ($2.50-$5).
