Bee Cave may have been made famous by the popularity of Hamilton Pool Preserve, but the town has a number of other parks that you may be missing out on, including Reimers Ranch Park! Reimers Ranch is the largest park in Travis County and is the perfect spot for any outdoor adventurer! Over 18 miles of mountain biking trails are well marked with difficulty ratings, so there’s a perfect trail for both expert riders and the novice out for a peaceful afternoon ride. Another 15 miles of trails are designed for hiking on foot along the river or across the bluffs. Off-trail guided tours to some of the serene springs and natural areas deep within the 2400-acre park are offered on Saturday mornings as well! For world class rock climbing visit the cliffs and boulders along the banks of the Pedernales River. With hundreds of routes for every skill level and spectacular views of the winding river, Reimers Ranch is a favorite among the Central Texas rock-climbing community! Chi-Town Chicago Style Eatery
Everyone loves a good hot dog, and Chi-Town has some of the best in the area! Just reading their menu will make your mouth start to water. Try their classic Chicago-style dog or go for a local favorite, the Texas “Lone Star Dog” – it’s topped with mustard, chili, cheese, red onions, and jalapenos! They even have four different versions of bacon wrapped hot dogs! For the weirdos in your group who don’t like hot dogs, they also offer up a variety of delicious sandwiches and a few different kinds of salads.
